P365 - Day 146 let me diarise that

Most of the things I’ve read about time management and organising say that having a diary is essential to getting your life under control.

I have one.

I wrote in it once, on 6 January.

The books also say that you have to actually use the diary. That means writing things in it, then looking at it during the day.

You are also probably supposed to do the things you write down to remind yourself to do.

Hmmmm.

  1. I found a diary was useless, it sits on the shelf or on the desk in the corner of the room and I rarely go over there. Instead I printed out a "today's priorities" list with numbered lines and little check off squares beside each one, had that laminated and stuck it on the fridge, because I go to the fridge every single morning, so I see the list and get started on it. At night when I'm washing the dishes, the fridge gets a wipe down too, so I clean off the list and write the next days tasks. As long as the list doesn't get too long the system works really well for me.

  2. Ha ha River, that's where mine was :) That's a really good idea you've got going. No point in having a list if you can't see it!

Hi! I know you hate having to type in the words as much as I do, but I am being furiously spammed, so I've had to reactivate that feature. If you're a real person I'd love to hear from you :-)
